Overview

The 6-inch DA Targets knockdown kit is constructed from self-healing polymer materials designed to instantly seal bullet holes, allowing for thousands of rounds of use. The target features patented, heat-activated color-changing technology that provides immediate visual feedback by changing color at the point of impact. For this "cool temperature" kit, the target appears black between 45-60°F with yellow impact marks, and turns red between 60-80°F with yellow impact marks. The system includes the 6-inch target, a self-healing mounting base, and an adjustment screw. It can be mounted to a 2x4 in an upright position for knockdown use or upside down for swinging. The target is suitable for most pistol and rifle calibers, ranging from .22 LR to .308, though it is optimized for full-metal jacket and ball ammunition. Hollow-point, wadcutter, and blunt-faced projectiles should be avoided. The target is designed for indoor and outdoor use and should be protected from UV light when not in service.
