Overview

The CZ 457 Scout is a modular bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR, designed as an ideal introductory firearm for young shooters with its compact 12-inch length of pull. It features a leaf rear sight adjustable for windage and a blade front sight adjustable for elevation, alongside an 11mm dovetail receiver milled for scope ring mounts. The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 TPI for hearing-safe shooting accessories. Built on the updated 457 platform, it incorporates a receiver-mounted push-to-fire safety, a reduced-footprint slab-sided action, a 60-degree bolt rotation for improved scope clearance, and a fully adjustable trigger for weight, creep, and over-travel. It utilizes a two-piece interlocking bottom metal system and is shipped with a single-shot adapter while remaining compatible with standard CZ 457/455 magazines.
