Overview

The CVA Optima is a .50 caliber break-action muzzleloader featuring a 26-inch fluted stainless steel barrel with a 1:28" twist rate. The rifle is equipped with a stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for optics mounting and features Williams fiber optic sights. Its black synthetic stock is fully ambidextrous, incorporating an adjustable length of pull via removable spacers, modular cheek risers, and a CrushZone recoil pad. For ease of operation and maintenance, the Optima includes a trigger-guard actuated quick-release breech plug, a reversible hammer spur, and an ambidextrous palm swell on the grip. The rifle comes with a solid aluminum PalmSaver ramrod and provides a balance suitable for various hunting conditions.
