Overview

The CVA Optima V2 Long Range is a break-action muzzleloading rifle chambered in .50 caliber with a 28-inch fluted, stainless steel barrel. Designed with a 1:28 twist rate and a 209 primer ignition system, it features a DuraSight Dead-On scope mount and a quick-release breech plug that is easily removable by hand without tools. The rifle utilizes the same internal parts and trigger-guard actuated breeching lever found on CVA's top-tier models. It is equipped with a 100% ambidextrous synthetic thumbhole stock featuring a Realtree Excape finish and a CrushZone recoil pad to manage felt recoil. The entire package measures 43 inches in overall length and weighs approximately 7.80 pounds, with the barrel and receiver finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote.
