Overview

The Cutting Edge MTH (Match/Tactical/Hunting) bullet is a single-feed, lead-free projectile machined from solid copper bar stock. Designed for hunting and precision shooting at all ranges, this .224 caliber, 78-grain bullet features a patented SealTite band, which is slightly larger than the caliber diameter to prevent gas blow-by and reduce copper fouling. These bullets are designed to fracture upon impact rather than mushroom, with 3-4 petals breaking off to create a large wound channel. They are effective at velocities as low as 1600 fps and require a barrel twist rate of 1:7 or faster for stabilization.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
