Cutting Edge Maximus 40 caliber muzzleloader bullets are designed for in-line muzzleloaders and feature a lead-free, 165-grain hollow point construction. Engineered for exceptional accuracy, these bullets are designed such that after 1 to 2 inches of penetration, four blades break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel while the base continues forward for deep penetration and trauma creation. They feature an overall length of 1.121 inches and require a twist rate of 1:24" or faster, with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .285.
