The Crimson Trace Lasergrips Laser Sight (LG-401G) is engineered specifically for full-size 1911 Government and Commander pistol models. Featuring an integrated green laser with a peak intensity of 5mW (515-535 nm, Class 3R), it delivers a bright, highly visible aiming point that excels in both low-light and daylight conditions. The grips incorporate Crimson Trace's signature Instinctive Activation technology, utilizing a front-located momentary pressure pad that naturally engages the laser when the firearm is held in a standard firing grip with no manual switches required. Designed for seamless user installation with zero firearm modifications, the matte black polymer grips maintain the natural ergonomics and pointability of the 1911 platform. The unit operates on four 2016 lithium batteries, providing over two hours of continuous illumination, and is user-adjustable for windage and elevation. Factory-sighted to an approximate point-of-impact at 50 feet, the laser produces a dot size of approximately 0.5 inches at that distance and is compatible with standard holsters.
