Overview

The Crimson Trace CTS-1520 Dovetail Mount Combo Kit provides a reliable, non-permanent optics mounting solution designed to bridge the gap between traditional iron sights and modern red dot optics. The system utilizes a low-profile machined dovetail adapter plate that secures into existing dovetail notches on the slide, eliminating the need for permanent slide cuts or gunsmithing. The included CTS-1520 compact open reflex sight features a 1x magnification and a 3.25 MOA red dot reticle. Built with 6061-series aluminum and polymer components, the optic incorporates high-efficiency LED technology with Intelligent Power Management, automatically entering a sleep mode after 10 hours of inactivity. The setup is compatible with popular GLOCK full-size and compact pistols, as well as Smith & Wesson M&P, M&P 2.0 full-size and compact, Shield, Shield Plus, and Shield EZ models. The matte black kit operates on a CR2032 battery and includes a plastic sight cover.
