Overview

The CMMG barrel sub-assembly is designed for custom AR-15 upper builds and is chambered in 5.56x45 NATO. It features a 12.5-inch barrel with a Multi Role profile, a 1:7 twist rate, and is constructed from 4140 Chrome Moly steel with a salt bath nitride finish applied to both the interior and exterior. The assembly includes a properly installed M4 barrel extension and is headspaced. The barrel utilizes a carbine-length gas port and a 0.750-inch gas journal. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28.
