Overview

The CMMG 9mm Luger replacement barrel and bolt carrier group (BCG) kit is designed to allow for the construction of a pistol caliber carbine using CMMG’s radial delayed blowback system. By utilizing a bolt that rotates and unlocks, this system effectively slows the BCG, resulting in a lighter assembly and reduced felt recoil compared to traditional straight blowback designs. The 8-inch medium-taper barrel is constructed from 4140 chromoly steel and features a salt bath nitride finish for increased durability and corrosion resistance. It includes a 1:10 twist rate and is threaded 1/2"x28 for the attachment of suppressors or other muzzle devices. This kit is intended for use with mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers that feature a modified ejection port, as well as designated CMMG lower receivers or AR-platform lowers using appropriate 9mm magazine conversion kits. The inclusion of the purpose-built BCG ensures reliable performance, making this kit suitable for tactical, defensive, and range-oriented AR-platform builds.
