Claybuster CB2100-12 shotshell wads are engineered as economical, high-consistency replacements for name-brand wads, performing best in straight-wall hulls such as Federal or Fiocchi. Molded from 100% prime resin, this wad is designed for 7/8 to 1-1/8 ounce target or hunting loads. Wads are an essential component in shotshell reloading, filling extra hull volume to prevent shifting of powder and shot. They act as a critical barrier to ensure proper powder ignition, seal hot propellant gasses behind the payload, and protect both the barrel from hard shot and soft shot from deformation.
