The Chiappa Firearms Rhino 40SAR is a medium-frame double/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with a 6-round capacity and a 4-inch nickel-plated steel barrel. Its innovative design features a lower barrel axis positioned at the bottom of the cylinder rather than the top, which dramatically reduces muzzle rise and felt recoil by aligning the bore almost directly with the shooter's hand. Constructed with a nickel-plated aluminum frame and a hexagonal cylinder that minimizes overall width, the Rhino includes medium walnut grips, a fixed fiber optic front sight, a fully adjustable rear sight, and an enclosed internal firing mechanism with a visible cocking indicator. This California-compliant model comes complete with three moon clips and a shell-removing tool.
