Overview

The Chiappa Firearms Rhino 40DS is an innovative 9mm revolver featuring a 4-inch vent-rib barrel. Its unique design fires from the bottom of the cylinder, lowering the bore axis to the shooter’s palm to significantly reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil. The revolver is constructed with a black anodized aluminum alloy frame and barrel shroud, complemented by a blued steel cylinder and walnut grip. This 6-shot revolver operates in both single and double-action modes using an internal mechanism that features a concealed hammer, which acts as a cocking device. A cocked indicator is clearly visible for safety. The frame includes a hexagonal cylinder design to minimize width and comes equipped with an adjustable rear sight and a fiber optic front sight.
