Overview

The Chiappa Rhino 40DS is a medium-frame double/single-action revolver chambered in 9mm Luger with a 6-round capacity. Featuring an innovative design that fires from the bottom of the cylinder rather than the top, it significantly lowers the bore axis to the shooter's palm, reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise. Built with a black anodized aluminum alloy frame and barrel shroud, the revolver includes a 4-inch steel vent rib barrel, a blued steel cylinder, and walnut grips. It utilizes a completely enclosed firing mechanism with a cocked indicator and a snag-resistant cocking device functioning as an internal hammer. Sights consist of a fixed fiber-optic front and an adjustable fiber-optic rear. Moon clips are included.
