Overview

The Caldwell Lead Sled DFT 3 is a dual-frame shooting rest designed to reduce felt recoil by up to 95% for heavy magnums and large-bore rifles. It features a welded steel dual-frame construction with 6 inches of sliding length adjustment to accommodate various stock sizes. The redesigned frame positions the dual tubes beneath the weight tray to improve clearance for detachable magazines, pistol grips, and lever-action rifles. The rest includes a benchrest-quality front elevation adjustment, a backlash-free windage adjustment, an all-weather skeletonized rubber front bag, and a rear support with a shock-eliminating recoil pad and vibration dampener. The adjustable weight tray accepts Lead Sled Weight Reservoir Bags, lead shot, or barbell weight plates.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
