Overview

The Caldwell 7-Rest is an innovative shooting rest designed to offer exceptional stability, versatility, and vertical adjustment ranging from 16 to 24 inches. It features an asymmetric green aluminum frame offset to the side of the firearm, which provides ample clearance for lever-action rifles, rolling blocks, and semi-automatic rifles with extended magazines, such as the AR-15. Featuring an ambidextrous design, the frame can be reversed to accommodate either right- or left-handed shooters comfortably. The distance between the front and rear supports is easily adjusted by loosening a central lock knob to alter the angle of the frame's two halves. Fully adjustable overmolded supports hold the firearm securely while protecting the stock and forend, and the entire base folds compactly for convenient transport and storage.
