Buffalo Bore .45 Colt +P ammunition is loaded with a 225-grain Barnes XPB solid copper hollow point lead-free bullet designed for deep penetration on big game ranging from whitetail deer to elk. Operating at a muzzle velocity of 1,500 fps and generating 1,124 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, this high-performance cartridge features an overall length of 1.572 inches to fit short-cylinder revolvers. It is intended strictly for use in modern firearms rated for +P pressures, including large-frame Ruger revolvers, Freedom Arms, Colt Anaconda, Dan Wesson, modern Marlin and Winchester 1894 lever-action rifles, and single-shot rifles.
