Overview

The BSF Barrels prefit carbon fiber barrel for Zermatt TL3 and SR3 actions is a 22-inch chambered barrel featuring a 6mm GT caliber and a 1:7.5-inch twist rate. BSF constructs the barrel by turning down a 416R stainless steel match blank and jacketing it in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve under tension, leaving 95% of the carbon fiber separated from the steel by air gaps to facilitate rapid heat venting without delamination issues. This tensioned carbon fiber design provides significant vibration dampening, superior stiffness, and reduced weight while maintaining straighter rifling as the barrel warms. Additional features include a stainless steel core, an 11-degree target crown, 6-groove button rifling, and double stress-relieved construction.
