Overview

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR in .300 Winchester Magnum is a bolt-action rifle designed for hunters pursuing large game in timber, river bottoms, and heavy-cover environments. It features a 22-inch fluted sporter-weight contour steel barrel with a straight fluting pattern, finished in Smoked Bronze Cerakote and threaded 5/8"-24 with a belled muzzle crown. A radial muzzle brake and thread protector are included, and the 1:10 RH twist rate stabilizes hunting projectiles from 150 to 220 grains. The Cerakote Smoked Bronze finish provides robust corrosion resistance with a non-reflective matte profile. The Mossy Oak Bottomland Vari-Tech composite stock offers natural concealment and features three independent adjustments: length of pull ranging from 13-1/8 to 14-1/8 inches, adjustable comb height for optic alignment, and interchangeable sporter and vertical grip modules. Black overmolded grip panels maintain secure handling in adverse weather. The redesigned X-Bolt 2 receiver features additional bolt guidance surface area for smooth cycling, an ergonomic bolt knob, a short 60-degree bolt lift, a top-tang safety with a bolt unlock button, and the X-Lock scope mounting system utilizing four screws per base. It utilizes a patent-pending adjustable DLX three-lever trigger set to hunting weights with zero creep, take-up, or overtravel, and feeds from a 3-round detachable rotary magazine.
