Overview

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.8 Western with a 3-round capacity and a 24-inch threaded sporter contour barrel. Built on a reconfigured steel receiver with additional bolt guidance surface area and weight-saving spiral fluting, the rifle provides smooth, fast cycling and consistent accuracy via a free-floating barrel and bedded action. It features an adjustable, multiple-lever DLX trigger preset at 3.5 pounds and a short 60-degree bolt throw. The configurable Vari-Tech synthetic stock offers an adjustable comb height for optimal optic alignment, internal length of pull spacers, and interchangeable grip modules—coming with a sporter grip installed and a vertical grip supplied—alongside rubber overmolding and a 1.25-inch Inflex recoil pad. The muzzle is threaded M13x0.75 and includes a thread protector.
