Overview

The Browning BT-99 Max is a purpose-built single-shot break-action trap shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with a 32-inch polished blued adjustable vent rib barrel and a 2.75-inch chamber. Designed for competitive trap shooting and recreational clay targets, this model features a blued steel receiver, hull ejector, and a beavertail forearm to help control recoil and assist hand-eye coordination. It comes equipped with chrome-plated chambers for durability and corrosion resistance, a HiViz Pro Comp fiber-optic front sight paired with an ivory mid bead, and three extended Midas Grade choke tubes (Full, Improved Modified, and Modified). The stock features an adjustable gloss oil finished AAAA grade maple wood configuration with a vertical grip, complemented by hardware from Graco including an adjustable high-post rib offering point-of-impact adjustment from 50/50 to 100/0, an adjustable comb, a butt plate that adjusts for angle and location, and the GraCoil Recoil Reduction System featuring a Pachmayr Decelerator XLT recoil pad for adjustable length of pull and enhanced comfort.
