Overview

The Browning A5 Hunter is a semi-automatic 20-gauge shotgun featuring a 26-inch vent rib barrel and a gloss black anodized aluminum receiver. Designed for upland and waterfowl hunting, it utilizes the Kinematic Drive system, which harnesses recoil energy to operate the action reliably across a wide range of loads without manual adjustment. The shotgun includes a gloss Turkish Walnut stock with shim-adjustable length of pull, cast, and drop, complemented by an Inflex II recoil pad and 18 lines-per-inch cut checkering. Technical features include Total Barrel Dynamics, which combines a back-bored barrel, a Vector Pro lengthened forcing cone, and the Invector-DS flush choke tube system. The shotgun comes with full, modified, and improved cylinder chokes, as well as 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch stock spacers. Sighting is provided by a fiber-optic front sight and an ivory mid-bead. The firearm offers a four-round capacity for 2.75-inch and 3-inch shells, and includes features such as Speed Load Plus, a turn-key magazine plug, and an ergonomic bolt latch for enhanced field performance.
