Overview

The Browning A5 Hunter is a recoil-operated semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun featuring a 28-inch barrel with a 3-inch chamber, a ventilated rib, a fiber-optic front sight, an ivory mid-bead, and a Vector Pro forcing cone. Its inertia-driven Kinematic Drive system cycles reliably with virtually all loads down to 1-ounce field loads without manual adjustments, expelling gases out of the barrel and away from the action. The firearm is built on a lightweight aluminum alloy humpback receiver with a polished black finish, paired with a gloss-finish Grade II Turkish walnut stock featuring 18 lines-per-inch checkering, a close-radius pistol grip, an Inflex recoil pad, and shims for adjusting length of pull, cast, and drop. It ships with three Invector-DS choke tubes and has a magazine capacity of 4 rounds.
