Overview

The Brownells BRN-180 Gen 2 16-inch 7.62x39mm upper receiver assembly is a complete piston-driven upper designed to mount onto any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver. It utilizes a short-stroke gas piston system with an adjustable two-position gas block for tuning suppressed or unsuppressed fire, paired with dual guide rods that contain the recoil system entirely within the upper to allow the use of a true folding stock. The 16-inch 4150 carbon steel barrel is button-rifled with a 1-8 inch twist, finished in nitride, and features a 5/8-24 threaded 3-prong AR-180-style flash suppressor. The 7075 T6 aluminum upper receiver has a hardcoat anodized finish, a full-length Picatinny rail for optics, and houses a multi-lug rotating bolt with a black oxide finish. It feeds using AR-15 pattern 7.62x39mm magazines.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
