Break Free CLP (MIL-SPEC 63460F Type-A) is a trusted, one-step cleaner, lubricant, and preservative formulated from high-quality synthetic oils. Originally developed for the U.S. Military, it effectively cleans burnt powder residue and other fouling materials from the bore, moving parts, and exterior of firearms while simultaneously reducing friction and protecting against corrosion. Utilizing an advanced boundary film, the formula minimizes metal-to-metal wear and prevents deterioration under high temperatures and extreme pressure, performing reliably in temperatures ranging from -65°F to +475°F as well as after saltwater immersion. Unlike formulas containing wax-based materials that can degrade into a gummy residue, this synthetic solution features special rust inhibitors to safeguard metals and simplify firearm maintenance.
