Overview
The BCM QRF-12 is a 12-inch free-float quad rail handguard for AR-platform rifles, machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum alloy with a hard-coat anodized black finish. It utilizes a proprietary patented mounting system with a steel barrel nut and a mechanical index at the 12:00 position to mitigate heat-induced movement. The handguard features MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails on all four sides with recoil slot markings for repeatable setup and includes four integrated limited-rotation QD sling swivel sockets. It has an inside diameter of 1.3 inches and a width of 2.12 inches.
