Overview

The Bravo Company BCMGUNFIGHTER Mod 5 Compensator is a tactical muzzle device designed for 5.56mm/.223 Remington AR-15 platforms. Featuring a 1/2"-28 thread, this steel compensator is black nitride treated to provide maximum corrosion resistance. The device is engineered to mitigate recoil, reduce muzzle rise, and decrease flash signature while minimizing the side blast and noise typically associated with compensators. The design features tuned ports and slots with no ground-facing openings, which reduces the kick-up of dust and debris when firing from a prone position or barricade. This compensator is an extended version of the Mod 4 and can be permanently installed to bring a 14.5-inch barrel to a non-NFA length of over 16 inches per BATF specifications. It includes a crush washer and should be installed by a qualified armorer. Note that the 5.56 version comes pre-drilled at the base to facilitate permanent installation.
