Unlike phosphor bronze brushes, the non-brass cores, threads, and aircraft-grade aluminum studs prevent false indications of copper fouling when used with copper-removing solvents. Each double-wound alloy core features a looped end to eliminate sharp cut ends, and the brush length is shortened by 1 inch to reduce cleaning rod flex.
