Bore Tech Proof-Positive Bore Stix 1-Piece Gun Cleaning Rod 223 Caliber 44" Coated Steel 8-32 Thread

Overview

Manufactured by Bore Tech, the Proof-Positive Bore Stix is a 1-piece gun cleaning rod designed specifically for 223 caliber rifles with a 44-inch length and 8-32 thread pitch. It features a free-floating, dual ball-bearing handle design containing 22 ball bearings for effortless rotation, allowing the patch to precisely follow the barrel's rifling while preventing jags and brushes from unscrewing. The ergonomic, non-slip rubber coated handle is color-coded to eliminate guesswork and helps protect the rifle stock. The rod utilizes a caliber-specific, enhanced high-strength steel core that provides unsurpassed rigidity, minimizing bow and flex, and is covered with a durable, chemically resistant, low-friction coating. It features a replaceable, barrel-safe, non-brass Proof-Positive tip that eliminates false indications of copper fouling and does not require additional adapters when switching between jags and brushes. The smooth, edge-free tip transition protects the firearm crown, and the rod includes an industry-exclusive index dot system to help determine barrel twist rates.
