Birchwood Casey Super Blue Liquid Gun Blue is a double-strength bluing solution formulated for highly polished steel parts and hardened steels containing nickel and chrome alloys. It is not intended for use on stainless steel. The solution produces a dark black-blue finish and acts more quickly than blue paste, requiring fewer coats for the desired result. It can be easily applied using swabs. Users should exercise caution to confine the application strictly to the area intended for treatment, as the solution may affect existing bluing.
