Overview
The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus is a semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun designed for waterfowl hunting, upland hunting, and target shooting. It utilizes a gas operating system with Blink technology, allowing for fast follow-up shots. The 30-inch Steelium Plus vent rib barrel features an OptimaBore HP finish with Aqua Technology to provide superior resistance to harsh elements like water, powder, sand, and salt spray, and includes lengthened forcing cones along with a step rib equipped with a fiber optic front bead and an integral steel mid-bead. The receiver is made of dark gray aluminum and features built-in rails for easy optics mounting. Built for heavy use, the shotgun has a 3.5-inch chamber and a 2+1 capacity, accompanied by an enlarged loading port, extended charging handle, and bolt release. The black synthetic Kick-Off stock combines Beretta's recoil mitigation system with an ultra-soft Micro-Core butt-pad and a soft comb to minimize felt recoil against the cheek mount.
