The Bell and Carlson Alaskan II stock for the Remington 700 BDL short action is a composite hunting stock featuring a Black/Gray Spiderweb finish. It is built around a modified, full-length aluminum bedding block with integrated reinforcement that extends into the wrist, along with two action bedding pillars. The stock is equipped with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and provides a 13.5-inch length of pull. The barrel channel is cut for factory magnum contour barrels. Note that the Alaskan II design includes pressure points that make contact with the barrel, meaning it does not free-float the barrel.
