The BCM MCMR-8 is an 8-inch, free-floating handguard designed for AR-platform rifles, featuring an M-LOK compatible mounting system. Constructed from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum with a hardcoat anodized black finish, this handguard provides a lightweight and durable modular platform for accessories like lasers, grips, and lights. The handguard utilizes BCM's patented barrel nut and lock-up design, which includes a mechanical index to the 12 o'clock position to reduce movement caused by heat. Measuring 1.3 inches in internal diameter, it is compatible with low-profile gas blocks and is suitable for use with pistol, carbine, or mid-length gas systems. The kit includes a steel barrel nut and a BCM M-LOK compatible sling mount.
