Overview

The Bravo Company MCMR (M-LOK Compatible Modular Rail) is a free-float handguard precision-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum alloy. It features a hard-coat anodized finish per Mil-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2, and utilizes a proprietary engineered profile for increased cross-sectional strength. The rail incorporates a steel barrel nut and a patented mounting system that includes a mechanical index at the 12:00 position to mitigate movement caused by heat. Measuring 1.3 inches in inside diameter and 1.5 inches wide, the rail is compatible with M-LOK mounting accessories on seven sides, in addition to the integrated MIL-STD-1913 rail at the 12 o'clock position. The system is designed for use with pistol, carbine, mid-length, or Mil-Spec M16 rifle-length gas systems equipped with a low-profile gas block. The handguard includes a BCM M-LOK compatible sling mount, and the mounting hardware weighs 2.3 ounces.
