Overview

The BCM KMR Alpha 9-inch handguard is manufactured from aluminum with a durable hardcoat anodized black finish for corrosion resistance and a non-reflective surface. Designed to be free-floating, it utilizes a proprietary, patent-pending mounting and indexing system that mitigates rail movement caused by barrel nut heat. The KeyMod interface provides universal modularity and features four offset mounting positions in addition to the traditional 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock locations, with the 3 and 9 o'clock rails flaring outward by approximately 1/4 inch toward the muzzle.
