Constructed from 8620 heat-treated cast steel with a black phosphate finish, it features a skeletonized design weighing only 0.53 ounces to reduce weight. The bolt catch includes a raised T-shaped heel and bold horizontal and diagonal serrations to provide positive tactile control for locking the bolt back and executing faster reloads without interfering with Norgon ambi-catches.
