Barnes Tipped TSX 6.5mm 100-grain bullets feature a 100% lead-free copper body with multiple rings cut into the shank for pressure reduction. The inclusion of a polymer tip and a re-engineered nose cavity enhances the ballistic coefficient and enables rapid expansion. The bullet is designed to provide complete penetration, near 100% weight retention, and internal damage through four razor-sharp cutting petals. Barnes recommends an initial seating depth of 0.050" off the lands, with optimal accuracy typically found between 0.030" and 0.070".
