Overview

Barnes Original .38-55 WCF bullets are .375-caliber projectiles featuring a 255-grain flat nose soft point design with a cannelure. Introduced in 1939, these were the first custom bullets produced by pressure-forming 100 percent copper tubing around a core of solid lead, a construction method designed to provide reliability and accuracy for hand-loaders. These bullets are engineered for consistent terminal performance, typically expanding to over 200 percent of their original diameter upon impact while retaining up to 90 percent of their initial weight. This design ensures effective energy transfer for hunting and target shooting applications. The bullets are supplied in a box of 50.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
