Barnes Long-Range X (LRX) 6.8mm/.270-caliber bullets are 155-grain, lead-free monolithic copper projectiles supplied in a box of 50. Designed for extended-range hunting, the LRX series features increased ogive and boat-tail lengths to maximize ballistic coefficients and downrange performance. A polymer tip initiates immediate expansion upon impact, causing the nose cavity to double in diameter and deploy four cutting petals for deep penetration and extensive internal tissue damage.
