Overview
The Avian-X 12 Gauge Extended Choke Tube is engineered for Remington Rem Choke barrels with a .665" constriction, delivering dense, even patterns and maximum kinetic energy at extended ranges. Constructed from high-strength tempered steel with a black PVD finish for smoother shots and easier cleaning, it features unique internal groove technology to separate pellets from the wad. Straight rifling prevents the wad from spinning to focus more pellets on target, while radical porting keeps gases away from the shot string. Additional design elements include a polished end face for improved barrel seating and castle cuts on the crown that lock the choke tightly into place while providing exhaust channels for gasses. This choke tube is rated for steel, tungsten, bismuth, and lead shot.
