Overview
The Advanced Technology (ATI) Heatshield is a steel-formed accessory designed to manage barrel heat and protect the shooter during extended firing sessions. It features elongated cooling slots for maximum heat dissipation and measures 13.5 inches in length. This black heatshield is compatible with most 12, 16, and 20 gauge, as well as .410 bore, pump-action shotgun barrels, provided the barrel lug is positioned more than 13.5 inches from the receiver. It includes a complete set of adapters and spacers for installation on Remington 870, Mossberg 500, Maverick 88, and Winchester 1200/1300 models. Please note that this product is not compatible with Mossberg Mariner or Remington Marine Coat shotguns. As each heatshield should be custom fit, professional gunsmith installation is recommended if the user is not equipped or comfortable with the fitting process.
