Overview

Armscor USA 6.5 PRC ammunition is loaded with Hornady's Extremely Low Drag - eXpanding (ELD-X) projectile, designed for flat trajectories, exceptional wind resistance, and reliable terminal performance on large game at extended distances. The 143-grain bullet features a polymer Heat Shield tip that resists aerodynamic friction, a Drag Variability Reduction Technology flat meplat, a streamlined secant ogive profile, a boat tail, and an Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket to ensure concentricity and balance. A G7 ballistic coefficient of .315 allows the round to maintain velocity and energy downrange. Designed for high-velocity impact, the ELD-X bullet is fortified with an InterLock ring that prevents core-jacket separation, retaining upward of 90% of its weight even after traveling past 400 yards. This load achieves a muzzle velocity of 2,850 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 2,579 foot-pounds out of reloadable brass cases. Note that this ammunition is chambered specifically for 6.5 PRC rifles and is not compatible with 6.5 Creedmoor chambers.
