Overview

The Arisaka Defense Zero Retention Clamp (ZRC) is designed to reduce zero shift for lasers and iron sights mounted on the handguards of Sig Sauer MCX Virtus (5.56/.300BLK) and Spear LT (5.56/7.62x39/.300BLK) rifles. By securing the handguard to the extended upper receiver, the ZRC prevents the handguard flex that typically causes zero changes when pressure is applied. The clamp is CNC-machined from 6061-T651 aluminum with a Mil-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized finish and does not contact the barrel or gas system, maintaining a free-floated barrel.
