Overview

The Archangel OPFOR forend set is designed to fit all short-forend AK-pattern rifles. This four-piece set includes a lower handguard, two upper handguards (one featuring an integral 12 o'clock M1913 Picatinny rail with a 3.75-inch length), and an internal heat shield. Constructed from a durable, proprietary carbon-fiber-filled black polymer, the set is ventilated for heat dissipation. Designed for improved comfort and control, the lower handguard features a comfortable swell and grooves for enhanced grip. The upper handguards are also aggressively grooved to facilitate a firm hold by the off-hand. This American-made forend set is 922(r) compliant and serves as a direct replacement for original equipment.
