Overview

The ProMag Archangel OPFOR Precision Stock is a modern drop-in replacement stock designed to enhance the ergonomics, functionality, and performance of the classic Mosin-Nagant M1891 platform. Constructed from a durable, proprietary carbon-fiber-filled polymer with a black finish, this stock is lightweight yet rigid, offering improved handling and weather resistance compared to original wooden furniture. Designed for broad compatibility, the stock fits most M1891 variants including the 91/30, M-38, M-44, and Chinese T-53 carbines with both hex and round receivers, and can fit Finnish M-39 rifles with minor modifications. It replaces the traditional fixed internal magazine with an integral mag well and a detachable polymer magazine system for faster reloads. Key features include a click-adjustable length-of-pull (ranging from 13.5 to 14.625 inches) with a rubber recoil butt-pad, a click-adjustable cheek-riser for optimal optic alignment, and an ergonomic gooseneck-style grip complete with a palm swell and a locking storage compartment. For enhanced accuracy, the precision-inletted stock incorporates steel pillar bedding, a free-floating forend that accommodates most barrel contours, and a patented barrel tensioner (pressure device) to tune barrel harmonics. Additionally, it is pre-inletted to accept a Timney trigger (with a blanking piece included to retain the OEM trigger if preferred) and features multiple steel hardpoints configured for push-button QD sling swivels.
