The Auto-Ordnance 1911A1 Memphis Belle is a custom .45 ACP semi-automatic 1911 pistol dedicated to the legacy of the WWII Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress. This GI-style handgun features a Cerakote finish, with an OD Green slide adorned with the "Memphis Belle" name in yellow script, military-style lettering, a star roundel, and bomb silhouette mission tallies. The frame is finished in gray with Armor Black controls, complemented by textured hardwood grips featuring pin-up girl artwork. Built on a 5-inch barrel platform, the pistol measures 8.6 inches in overall length and weighs 2.3 pounds. It utilizes blade front sights and a rear sight drift-adjustable for windage. Each firearm comes with a 7-round magazine and a 1-year warranty. Note that this is a "Shooter's Model," which may include minor manufacturing finish imperfections not visible to the casual observer.
