Overview

The American Defense Enhanced XL 12-position buffer tube is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodize finish. Designed to provide maximum length-of-pull adjustability, it features 12 detent positions across an 8-inch length. It is purpose-built for the A5 buffer system on the AR-15 platform, which provides a smoother recoil impulse and improved cycling consistency, and is also compatible with standard AR-15 carbine buffer systems on the AR-10 platform. The tube includes five machined drain ports to allow for the escape of gas, debris, and water, helping to maintain reliable function and reduce internal corrosion. It is not compatible with standard mil-spec AR-15 carbine buffer systems.
