Overview

The Aero Precision AR-15 12-inch Enhanced M-LOK Handguard Gen 2 is a lightweight, one-piece free-float rail system designed for AR-15 platforms. Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum with a hard-anodized black finish, this handguard features a continuous top rail, scalloped rails for weight reduction, and integrated anti-rotation tabs. The Gen 2 model introduces additional milling for improved grip and updated picatinny rail profiles, as well as quick-disconnect sling sockets at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. With an inside diameter of 1.72 inches, it is compatible with most muzzle devices and 1.5-inch suppressors. This handguard utilizes the BAR interface; it is compatible with the Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver, but requires a BAR barrel nut for installation on standard threaded upper receivers. It is not compatible with M5 .308 platforms.
