Overview

The Aero Precision Low-Profile Adjustable Gas Block allows users to finely tune their direct impingement gas system for any application. Compatible with barrels utilizing a .750 gas block journal, it is particularly useful for managing excess gas to reduce blowback on suppressed firearms or to mitigate recoil in competition builds. The standard low-profile design ensures a great fit under slim free-float handguards, including the Aero Precision ATLAS, R-ONE, and S-ONE series. Machined from 4140 steel with a durable nitride coating, this gas block features a custom-machined stainless-steel adjustment screw that provides 15 distinct gas settings. The adjustment screw is held securely in place by a spring and detent mechanism, delivering repeatable audible clicks upon adjustment and removing the need for secondary set screws that can come loose under recoil. Additionally, carbon fouling is channeled to a sacrificial chamber to help prevent carbon locking while providing an access point for solvent. The user-serviceable design allows for easy maintenance and cleaning of the gas system. The unit attaches to the barrel via 10-32 x 3/16 knurled set screws. Included in the package are the assembled adjustable gas block, a 6-inch 3/32 adjustment wrench designed for easy access underneath an installed handguard, and a replacement spring and detent. Aero Precision recommends using non-permanent threadlocker on the set screw threads if desired, but explicitly advises against using threadlocker of any kind on the gas block adjustment screw.
