Overview

The Aero Precision Atlas R-One is a 12.7-inch handguard engineered for AR-10/M5 platforms. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, this lightweight forend utilizes the proprietary Atlas Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS). This mounting platform employs two mirrored tapered locking nuts and a turnbuckle screw to provide evenly distributed clamping pressure, ensuring a secure, rock-solid lockup to the upper receiver without distortion. The handguard features a full-length Picatinny top rail for optics or sights and M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for modular accessory mounting. With a slim 1.5-inch inside diameter, it is compatible with low-profile gas blocks. The unit includes all necessary mounting hardware and is designed for use with Aero Precision M5 or other high-profile DPMS-pattern AR-10 upper receivers. It is not compatible with M5E1 Enhanced uppers.
